HISTORY
The parks of CanevaWorld are located in a very strategic position, directly along the east coast of Lake Garda and within the municipal area of the ancient town of Lazise.
The adventure began in the distant 60’s, with a ballroom and the construction of sports facilities.
In the 80’s, the first water slides and multiple swimming pools were built, and the area began to evolve into a real amusement park.
In 2002 “MisterMovie Studios” was added next to the waterpark and after being renamed a few times, from “Movie Studios” to “Movieland Studios”, now it is known as “Movieland Park”. An amusement park dedicated to major Hollywood productions and inspired by similar parks in the United States.
CURIOSITIES
CanevaWorld’s first project was in the 1960s: “Dancing la Caneva”. Which became absolutely one of the first night clubs in Garda. This club had a setting that reconstructed the features of a real Benacense* cellar (caneva, in local dialect in fact means cellar).
*Benacus was the name of Lake Garda with a celtic origin.
New in 2020:
- Space, an entire thematic area of the amusement park, consisting of three new attractions dedicated to the whole family.
- Space Ranger, a futuristic version in which young and old can interact with other spacecrafts.
- Space: Mission Mars, a simulator inspired by those used in space centers to reproduce what an astronaut would experience on board a spaceship.
- Space Mission Orbit, an adrenaline experience during which you will try a space launch.
